Kamel El Adad Season 3 in Istanbul — Eagle Films x Line Production Turkey

*Line Production Turkey partnered with Eagle Films to deliver the Istanbul production of the third season of the hit Egyptian series *Kamel El Adad, officially titled Kamel El Adad ++, bringing one of Ramadan 2025’s anticipated family dramas to some of Istanbul’s most recognizable locations.*

Produced by *Eagle Films* and directed by *Khaled El Halfawy, the third season returned following the success of the series’ first two seasons. *Kamel El Adad ++ premiered during *Ramadan 2025, with distribution across ON, ON Drama and Shahid*.

## Season 3 Takes the Story to Istanbul

Türkiye became an actual part of the storyline in the third season rather than simply serving as a visual backdrop.

The new season follows Laila and Ahmed’s large family as their lives are disrupted by new relationships, family challenges and major changes. One of the season’s storylines sees Laila’s son preparing to travel to Türkiye to pursue his football career, creating the narrative foundation for the Istanbul sequences.

Egyptian media closely followed the Türkiye production. In January 2025, *Eagle Films producer Jamal Sinan* announced that the third season’s Istanbul scenes had been completed with star *Dina El Sherbiny* and director *Khaled El Halfawy*, before the team returned to Egypt to continue filming.

## Four Intensive Shoot Days AcrosAdadtanbul

For the Türkiye leg of *Kamel El Adad Season 3*, Line Production Turkey managed the local production operation in collaboration with Eagle Films.

Pre-production began in December, followed by an intensive *four-day shoot in Istanbul in January 2025. A 22-member Egyptian production team* worked alongside LPT’s Turkish crew, with the local production covering locations, filming permits, technical crew, equipment, transportation, logistics, hospitality and on-set coordination.

The production made use of some of Istanbul’s distinctive locations, including *Galata Tower, Pierre Loti and Nakkaştepe*, allowing the city itself to become part of the visual language of the season.

For Line Production Turkey, executing a tightly scheduled international television production required close integration between the incoming Egyptian crew and local departments while maintaining the creative and operational requirements of Eagle Films’ production schedule.

## Eagle Films x Line Production Turkey

The collaboration brought together *Eagle Films*, one of the established production companies in the Middle East, with Line Production Turkey’s experience in supporting international film and television productions in Türkiye.

The series is produced by *Jamal Sinan’s Eagle Films, with season three written by Rana Abou El Reesh and Yosr Taher* and directed by Khaled El Halfawy. The third season features *Dina El Sherbiny, Sherif Salama, Esaad Younes, Hussein Fahmy, Injy El Mokkaddem, Mariam El Khosht, Mimi Gamal* and a large ensemble cast.

Official Shahid information describes Kamel El Adad ++ Season 3 as an Egyptian comedy-drama centered on Laila, Ahmed and their family, whose newly established routine is disrupted by another wave of personal and family challenges.

## Istanbul on Screens Across the Middle East

The Istanbul production also received coverage across Egyptian and Arab entertainment media before the season premiered.

Images from the Türkiye shoot featuring *Dina El Sherbiny, Khaled El Halfawy and Jamal Sinan* were widely reported, while the official trailer later confirmed Türkiye as part of the third season’s narrative.

This exposure placed Istanbul in front of a large regional television and streaming audience during one of the Middle East’s most important viewing periods: *Ramadan*.

For Line Production Turkey, the project demonstrates how Türkiye can support not only commercials and films, but also major international television and streaming productions requiring fast-moving schedules, recognizable locations and experienced local production infrastructure.

## Led in Türkiye by Uluç Yemen Aslan

The Türkiye production was led by *Uluç Yemen Aslan*, coordinating the Istanbul operation and collaboration between the international team and Line Production Turkey’s local production structure. LPT provided full on-ground support throughout preparation and filming, helping Eagle Films complete its Istanbul schedule before continuing principal photography in Egypt.

The result was a seamless cross-border collaboration connecting *Egyptian television production with Istanbul’s locations, crews and filmmaking infrastructure*.
